Journal Article 2024 04 11 <p><strong>Objective:</strong> This study aims to examine the relationship between quality of life, hope, and the feeling of loneliness in young individuals.</p> <p><strong>Methods and Materials: </strong>In this correlational-descriptive study, the statistical population consisted of 2132 individuals, from which a sample of 325 was selected using Krejcie and Morgan’s table. For field data collection, three questionnaires were used: the World Health Organization Quality of Life–Brief Form (WHOQOL-BREF) comprising 26 items, the Dehshiri Loneliness Scale developed by Dehshiri and colleagues (1999) containing 38 items, and the Miller Hope Scale with 48 items—all based on a Likert scale. After collecting the questionnaire data, the obtained information was first subjected to descriptive and inferential analyses, followed by hypothesis testing.</p> <p><strong>Findings: </strong>The findings of this study, based on the proposed hypotheses, indicate a significant relationship between quality of life and hope with loneliness in individuals.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Therefore, it can be concluded that quality of life may serve as a predictor of hope and loneliness in young individuals.</p> <p><strong>Keywords: </strong>Quality of Life, Hope, Loneliness.</p> <p><strong>هدف:</strong> این پژوهش به منظور بررسی رابطه میان میزان كیفیت زندگی و امید به زندگی و احساس تنهایی در افراد جوان می‌پردازد.</p> <p><strong>مواد و روش‌ها: </strong>در این پژوهش توصیفی-همبستگی<strong> </strong>جامعه آماری 2132 نفر می‌باشند كه با استفاده از جدول مورگان کریسی، تعداد نمونه 325 نفری انتخاب شد. برای جمع آوری اطلاعات میدانی از 3 پرسشنامة كیفیت زندگی سازمان بهداشت جهانی- فرم كوتاه شامل 26 سوال و احساس تنهایی دهشیری و همکاران (1378) شامل 38 سوال و امید به زندگی میلر شامل 48 سوال، براساس مقیاس لیكرت استفاده شد. پس از جمع آوری داده‌های پرسشنامه ها، اطلاعات بدست آمده، ابتدا مورد تحلیل توصیفی و استنباطی و سپس فرضیه‌ها بررسی شدند.</p> <p><strong>یافته‌ها: </strong>نتایج بدست آمده از این پژوهش بر پایه فرضیات نشان می‌دهد كه بین كیفیت زندگی و امید به زندگی با احساس تنهایی در افراد رابطة معناداری وجود دارد.</p> <p><strong>نتیجه‌گیری: </strong>بنابراین، می‌توان نتیجه گرفت که کیفیت زندگی می‌تواند اساس امید به زندگی و احساس تنهایی در افراد را جوان پیشبینی کند.</p> https://www.quarterlyecp.com/index.php/ecp/article/download/73/55
